The Complex Needs Nursing Team, based at Kaleidoscope Children and Young People’s Centre, provides specialist support and advice for young people with complex learning and health needs, as well as their families. This dedicated team includes paediatric nurses, child development workers, and nursery nurses, ensuring comprehensive and seamless care.
What Does the Team Do? The team offers a range of services to support students’ health and wellbeing, including:
Facilitating enteral feeding and medication administration within Greenvale School and other complex needs settings.
Providing specialist advice and support for students and their families.
Working in collaboration with Lewisham’s Continuing Care and Children’s Community Nursing Services, as well as other professionals within the multi-disciplinary team.
