Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA)

At Greenvale, we want the very best for every pupil. We know that strong, positive partnerships between school, families and the wider community can have a significant and lasting impact on pupils’ learning, wellbeing, attendance, behaviour and achievement.

The Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA) provides a clear framework for schools to evaluate and strengthen the way they work with parents and carers. It is informed by research showing the importance of meaningful parental engagement and effective collaboration between home and school.

We are very proud of the work that takes place across Greenvale to build strong relationships with parents, carers, pupils, professionals and partner organisations. This includes regular communication, opportunities for families to contribute their views, support for parents and carers, close multi-agency working and a shared commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for our pupils.

Greenvale has previously achieved the LPPA and successfully gained reaccreditation for our parental partnership work. We are now very excited to be working towards reaccreditation for a second time.

The reaccreditation process gives us an important opportunity to reflect on our current practice, celebrate the positive impact of our collaborative work and identify further ways in which we can strengthen our partnership with families and the wider community.

As part of this process, we will continue to seek the views of parents, carers, pupils, staff, governors and partner organisations. Their experiences and feedback are an essential part of helping us understand what works well and how we can continue to improve.
