The current COVID situation is one that that has had various different impacts on everyone. On the page below is information you might find useful to help you navigate these times a little easier.

  • Shopping – Waitrose and Sainsburys are accepting DLA award letters as proof that you are a vulnerable family and allowing you to use their restricted times for the vulnerable, NHS workers etc.  Some Tesco stores are also allowing it – you may need to check your local store as it isn’t all of them.
 
  • If you call Tesco on 08009177359 and inform them that you live with a vulnerable child, you may be added tot eh vulnerable persons list. This will give you access to delivery slots 24 hours ahead of the usual release time.

Great News from Fledglings – free £50.00 gift card

 

Dear Parent/Carers we are delighted to announce that Fledglings has received funding to support families. This opportunity is open to families in greatest need and who could do with support to help their disabled child at home during this difficult time.  You will need to complete an application form to receive a grant of £50.00 per family to spend on Fledgling products.  Please see their website for the many products they offer.  https://fledglings.org.uk/

If you are successful, you will receive a Gift Card that will enable you to place your order and proceed with your purchase.
